How to complete your
Dual Enrollment Funding Application
in GAFutures:
This is a 3-step process:
#1 Go to this link: https://www.gafutures.org/

Click “Create an Account” – located next to the Sign in button (if you don't already have an account)

Click Student.

Enter all of your information here and click Next.

Click “I attend a Georgia public High School."

Answer three security questions (be sure to write down the answers) and click Next.

Make your user name and password (be sure to write this info down).

Fill out the rest of the required information.

Be sure to make sure the email addresses are correct. GAFutures will be sending an email to you and your parent.

Accept the acknowledgement part.

Click that you are not a Robot.
-
Click Create an Account.

This will set up your GAFutures account

#2 Go here: https://www.gafutures.org/hope-state-aid-programs/scholarships-grants/dual-enrollment/application-procedure/

Sign in to your GAFutures account (if you don't have an account, go back to Step #1.)

Click "Apply Now."

Click "Apply for Dual Enrollment." You will see this tab on the left side.

Fill out the form including a personal email address for you and your parent.

Click Sprayberry High School (112005) as your school.

Please choose the term in which you would like to enroll. (May 2025- April 2026)
-
State what grade you will be in next school year - (11th or 12th)

Choose the college you are attending (KSU, Chatt Tech, or GA Tech)

Review the Participation Agreement and click each box under the Student Acknowledgment section.

Click "I understand" on the bottom right side.

Type in your first and last name.

Click Submit.

Once completed, your parent will receive an email asking them to complete their portion of the funding application. Make sure the email you put into GA for your parent is correct.

#3 Go here: https://www.gafutures.org/checs/DualEnrollment/Parent/

You should receive an email from GAFutures once your student completes their part of the funding application. Please check your spam folder.

If not, use the above link to access your portion of the funding application.

Input your student's social security number and date of birth.

Follow the prompts to complete your portion of the funding application.

Once completed, you will sign the bottom and click submit. This form will be similar to what the student completed. ​

The counselors will not be able to approve your DE funding if this step is not completed.
