​This is a 3-step process:

 

If you don't have an account, start at #1. If you already have your GAfutures account, skip to Step #2. 
 

 

#1 Go to this link: https://www.gafutures.org
 

Steps:

• New users must create an account:

• Visit www.GAfutures.org

• Click Create an Account

• Choose GAfutures Account type (Student, Professional, Other)

• Follow steps for Account Creation

• Click Create Account

• The user will see a message to verify the Application Access

•  A verification email will be sent immediately to the user.

• The user will click on the link sent to their email and will have 24 hours to verify their account.

•  If the user does not click on the verification link, they will see an error message appear: You have not verified your account by email yet.

• The user can select Re-send verification Email option and will have 24 hours to verify their account.

• After verifying their email, the user will be able to sign in to their account.

#2  Go here: https://www.gafutures.org/hope-state-aid-programs/scholarships-grants/dual-enrollment/application-procedure/

• Sign in to your GAFutures account (if you don't have one, go back to Step #1).

• Click "Apply Now."

• Click "Apply for Dual Enrollment." You will see this tab on the left side.

• Fill out the form, including a personal email address for you and your parent. 

• Click Sprayberry High School (112005) as your school. 

• Please choose the term in which you would like to enroll. (May 2026- April 2027) 

• State what grade you will be in next school year - (11th or 12th)

• Choose the college you are attending (KSU, Chatt Tech, or GA Tech) 

• Review the Participation Agreement and click each box under the Student Acknowledgment section.

• Click "I understand" in the bottom-right corner.

• Type in your first and last name. 

• Click Submit. 

• Once completed, your parent will receive an email asking them to complete their portion of the funding application. Make sure the email address you entered in GA for your parent is correct.

#3  Go here: https://www.gafutures.org/checs/DualEnrollment/Parent/

• You should receive an email from GAFutures once your student completes their part of the funding application. Please check your spam folder.

• If not, use the above link to access your portion of the funding application.

  • Enter your student's Social Security number and date of birth.

  • Follow the prompts to complete your portion of the funding application.

  • Once completed, you will sign the bottom and click submit. This form will be similar to what the student completed. ​

  • The counselors will not be able to approve your DE funding if this step is not completed. ​
